The app was spurred by a desire to stimulate the local economy. In talking about this app, we were able to mock it up on the spot. The ideas spurred with the Lyoness cash back banking system, which originated in Austria, and then spread pretty quickly over seas. We wanted, as an outcome, friendly competition to sweep over our Oregon cities using the app as a scoring card. There are two ways which the app works; One: customers buy from local companies with the gift of cash back for participating customers. And two: A donation. Once your account is activated, the customer may specify their charity or choice where a percentage of the transaction goes directly to that charity.
Ionic is an Angular JS framework that can compile to both android and iOS for a reduction in development time and cost.
At the core of this project is a transaction based banking system, with high integrity and security. Redundant integrity. We have thought of all cases where a transaction could be canceled or refunded, and our system supports all cases.
We focused on making transactions simple, by using QR codes for customers.
The whole app is designed for the community, for the people who live in Oregon, so that those who do business here, or those in business here can both benefit by giving back.
